Installation
- Power off your Flipper Zero.
- Insert the nRF24 module into the GPIO header in the correct orientation.
- Power on Flipper Zero.
- Open a compatible nRF24 app from your firmware's GPIO or Apps menu.
- If the app asks for connection mode, select the mode that matches your GPIO/SPI configuration.
Recommended Checks
- Update your Flipper firmware before testing.
- Confirm that the module is fully seated on the GPIO pins.
- Attach the included 2.4 GHz antenna before use.
Troubleshooting
- Module not detected: check GPIO orientation, firmware support, and app settings.
- Short practical range: 2.4 GHz devices often use frequency hopping, low transmit power, and interference-resistant designs. Limited range can be normal.
- App compatibility issue: some apps use fixed pin definitions. Try another compatible firmware build or app version.
Choose the Right Module
- Single nRF24 module: for 2.4 GHz nRF24 projects.
- nRF24 + CC1101 2-in-1 module: adds a 433 MHz CC1101 radio on the same Flipper Zero board.
