Before Contacting Us
Most module issues are caused by setup mismatch rather than hardware failure. Please check these items first:
- Confirm your host device version matches the product compatibility list.
- Update to the recommended firmware version for your device.
- Check GPIO orientation, connector direction and antenna connection.
- For Cardputer or Bruce firmware products, confirm brucePins.conf is edited correctly.
- Restart the host device after changing firmware or pin settings.
What to Include in Your Message
To help us diagnose the issue faster, please include:
- Your order number
- Exact product model
- Host device model and version
- Firmware name and version
- Clear photos of the installation, connector direction and antenna setup
- A short description of what you expected and what happened instead
Common Support Topics
RF module not detected
Check firmware compatibility, GPIO orientation, pin settings, switch position and whether the app supports your board's pin configuration.
Wi-Fi devboard not responding
Confirm the correct app file is installed, reconnect the board, restart the host device and avoid reflashing module firmware unless instructed by support.
Range seems limited
Range depends on antenna type, frequency, surrounding interference, host power, firmware behavior and local regulations. For 2.4 GHz modules, short practical range can be normal in noisy environments.
Cardputer ADV setup issue
Check both SDcard → brucePins.conf and LittleFS → brucePins.conf if settings do not apply. Restart the device after saving.
