M5Stack Stick S3 RF PACK S3 Module Setup & Troubleshooting Guide

1. REQUIRED FIRMWARE (CRITICAL)

 

To avoid "CC1101 NOT FOUND" errors
you MUST flash the Latest Bruce firmware(For Now V1.14).

 

Flash here: bruce.computer/flasher

 

WARNING: DO NOT use v1.12 or v1.13. Only the Latest  or beta Bruce includes the necessary SPI & power patches for module recognition.

 

2. HARDWARE SETUP

 

Plug the RF Board into your M5Stack Stick S3.

 

3. SOFTWARE CONFIG

 

For CC1101 (433MHz):

 

Menu: RF → CONFIG → RF MODULE → CC1101 (legacy)

 

For NRF24 (2.4G):

 

No setup required, just turn on the nrf24 and it's ready to use.
