PINGEQUA 2-in-1 RF Devboard + RF Lab: The Fix We Built Ourselves
Share

The Problem We Couldn't Ignore
We designed the PINGEQUA 2-in-1 RF Devboard to be something the Flipper Zero community had never seen before — two RF chips, one board, no compromises. The hardware was ready. Then reality hit.
Every existing NRF24 app in the wild was built with a single assumption baked in: one chip per SPI bus. On a dual-chip board, that assumption breaks everything silently. Wrong chip selected. Wrong signals read. No output. Users assumed the hardware was faulty. It wasn't.
The innovative hardware design we spent weeks engineering was being bottlenecked by software that was never built for it. So we did what any self-respecting hardware team would do — we built the software ourselves.
In a few focused days of development, we shipped RF Lab v0.2.0: a ground-up rewrite designed specifically for this board, with dual-chip reality built into its core from line one. NRF24 Channel Scanner works. Spectrum analysis works. Sub-GHz keeps working after you exit. And it runs on every major firmware without any manual configuration.
This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time patch. RF Lab will keep shipping updates to match what the hardware is actually capable of — and to respond to what real users actually need.
What It Is
The PINGEQUA 2-in-1 RF Devboard is the world's first dual-chip RF module for Flipper Zero, integrating both NRF24L01+ and CC1101 on a single board. Paired with the dedicated RF Lab app, it's ready to go the moment you plug it in.
Trusted by Flipper Zero users across the US, EU, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, and 190+ countries worldwide.
Hardware Highlights
Industry-First Software Chip Arbitration The only board on the market that runs two RF chips simultaneously — no physical switch required. A software arbitration layer manages both chips automatically, eliminating the manual toggling and hardware compromises found in every competing dual-module solution.
Maximum Power Output — No Compromises Each chip is independently tuned to deliver its peak transmit performance:
- CC1101: 10 dBm maximum output power — Sub-GHz band
- NRF24L01+: 20 dBm maximum output power — 2.4 GHz band
Compared to standard power configurations found on most competing modules, PINGEQUA delivers a clear advantage in signal penetration and communication range.
Firmware Compatibility
Works out of the box with all major Flipper Zero firmware — no switching, no remapping, no setup:
- Momentum / Unleashed / RogueMaster / Official Firmware / Xtreme
RF Lab — Core Features
NRF24 Channel Scanner Full 2.4 GHz channel scan, rebuilt from scratch for dual-chip hardware. The feature that inspired the whole app — now working correctly on PINGEQUA for the first time.
Spectrum Scanning Real-time sweep across the 2.4 GHz band with a live per-channel signal strength display.
Max-Hold Mode Channel hits accumulate without decay. When any bar saturates, the scan auto-pauses and freezes the display — showing the true historical peak, exactly as a lab-grade spectrum analyzer would.
Protocol Band Markers Protocol positions are labeled directly on the scan display for instant identification:
- ▲ WiFi — Channels 1 / 6 / 11
- ■ BLE — Advertising channels 37 / 38 / 39
Adjustable Dwell Time Tune per-channel dwell time with ↑/↓ keys (130–2000 µs):
- Short dwell: fast wide-band sweeps
- Long dwell: capturing weak or short-burst emitters
Cursor Inspection Move the cursor with ←/→. The footer shows the live hit count for the selected channel — useful for distinguishing real signals from the noise floor.
Continuous Updates — Hardware That Keeps Getting Better
RF Lab is actively developed and open to community feedback. v0.2.0 is the foundation, not the ceiling. Upcoming releases will expand into scan data export, persistent settings, a unified CC1101 + NRF24 interface, and more — progressively unlocking the full capability of the hardware.
The board was built with headroom. The software will grow to match it.

Installation
Drag the .fap file into qFlipper and launch. No configuration required.
App size: 21 KB — Cold start: ~1 second
Notes
- v0.2.0 is passive receive only — no transmission of any kind
- On exit, all Flipper native features (including Sub-GHz) are fully restored — no reboot needed
